Seed

A seed pearl is a small saltwater or freshwater pearl which is generally less than three millimeters. Seed pearls are available in a variety of shapes: near-round, off-round, oval/oblong/rice, bouton (button), and baroque. The most common color is white but are also available in natural pinks (pink, blush, pale orange & lavender) and several enhanced colors.

The choker is a popular length for seed pearl strands and is perfect for layering or as a single adornment. Multiple strands of seed pearls are used to create torsades with handcrafted clasps to wear in front or back of the neck.
